Gametrackers invites you to discover the awe-inspiring beauty and serenity of the Pilanesberg National Park. Embark on one of our 3-hour Scheduled Game Drives with a registered field guide who will convey extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants. These game drives will be conducted in 25-seater open vehicles with other guests. Pilanesberg National Park is Malaria free and accommodates virtually every mammal of Southern Africa including the “Big Five” (namely Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant & Buffalo)

This service includes a guided tour through the Pilanesberg National Park with a registered field guide.
Duration of the Game Drive: ±3 hours
On the early morning drives tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
In the late morning and afternoon, snacks and beverages are provided during the comfort break.
Excludes day visitors’ entrance fees into Sun City and the Valley of the Waves.

Our game drive in the Pilanesberg was absolutely unforgettable! We were lucky enough to get up close to a massive herd of Elephants - including several adorable calves - and watched in awe as they crossed the road right in front of our vehicle. Along the way, we spotted lions, giraffes, a rhino with her calf, zebras, crocodiles and hippos and even narrowly missed the opportunity to see a Leopard! Our guide and tracker for the day TT, was fantastic - keeping us both entertained and laughing, while also sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife in the park. The game drive was absolutely magnificent. It was cold but definitely worth it. We sighted 4 of the big 5. Had a cheetah with its cub walk in front of us, a family of elephants moving us off the road as they crossed over and we even saw a leopard. We watched hippos basking in the sun next to a crocodile and we caught glimpse of a jackal in the grass. Our guide (Thato) was amazing, great energy, very jovial and made the trip even more exciting and shared a lot about how the animals behave. It was a really awesome experience. - Salie
